Maria, formerly of Salon V has reached new heights in her career having finally fulfilled her dream of opening Maria Mok Salon.  Inspired by the likes of John Sahag, Sally Herschberger, Tim Hartley, and Vidal Sassoon.  Maria hopes to bring to you the same quality, look, and feel, at a fraction of the price. Maria likes to say "I bring Soho Style, Madison Avenue Sophistication, at East Village prices".  

As we all very well know, not all hair stylist are created equal, and that is why Maria continually strives to stay on top of her game by not only attending hair seminars, but  is also an educator herself, having earned her Certification for Davines Hair Care Products.  In fact Maria holds a Bachelors of Science in Education, having taught elementary school for a short while, before returning back to her first passion, hair.  

 Maria's emphasis on hair is two fold, first she likes to make sure that it is strong and healthy, she does this through her recently earned Certification of Natural Tech treatments, that restructure, detoxify, and nourish your hair.   After taking care of your hair, only then will Maria dazzle you with her her own signature style of dry cutting,  which she says allows for a more precise cut, and manageable hair, making sure that you look and stay fierce.,
